Returning to School After a Brain Tumour
Download this teachers guide for pupils with brain tumours
The Returning to School book is the outcome of a study carried out by Cerebra in conjunction with the Children's Unit of the Royal Marsden Hospital, (institute of Cancer Research). It was found that guidance resources for pupils who have been treated for a brain tumour were very limited. These children can be left with a wide spectrum of possible difficulties, which are of specific and different from those of children who have suffered other types of Acquired Brain Injury. The following guide was developed to assist teachers with the children's re-integration into school, post treatment. You can download the whole guide by clicking on the picture below, or if you would prefer you can also download it by chapter. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the files. |
