A type of light-touch therapy in which certain areas of the foot are believed to correspond to the organs or structures of the body. Reflex zones assessed as being disordered are worked on to normalise them. In a wider sense, there are techniques for the head and hands as well as the feet, originating from three strands of tradition in India, China and Egypt. Cerebral palsy is one of the conditions it is offered for, although the research published so far does not directly relate to cerebral palsy.
