A

Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
Damage to the brain that occurs after birth and is not related to a congenital disorder or a degenerative disease. Damage may be caused by a traumatic injury to the head or by a non-traumatic cause such as a tumor, aneurysm, anoxia or infection.

A therapy technique that measures brainwave activity using sensors on the scalp and feeds it back to the user, typically in the form of a video display, sound or vibration. The aim is to allow conscious control of brainwave activity.
