Life can be tough when you live with someone with extra needs. Having the support from Cerebra has been invaluable to us. We, as a family, cherish the opportunity to give back and hopefully raise awareness about the work that Cerebra does and the neurological conditions the charity supports.

I have had mild cerebral palsy from birth and Cerebra is a charity that is very close to my heart. It’s great to see how much of a difference its work makes to many children and their families. It does great work which I love to support and get involved in!

When Annie-May was diagnosed with an unknown rare genetic condition it was a very dark and difficult time for our family. It was difficult to find support and we were so grateful to discover Cerebra. The help we received was invaluable and the charity will always hold a special place in our hearts.

My younger brother Robbie has an acquired brain injury and Cerebra gave him and the whole family priceless support and advice during his childhood.  Cerebra is a truly wonderful charity and I feel honoured to be a supporter, fundraiser and ambassador for a charity that changes so many lives for the better.

We don’t know how much cerebral palsy will effect Elliott’s life. I found it very hard to come to terms with Elliott’s diagnosis but he is working so hard and making his own special journey in life. Cerebra has been very supportive to us and I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing charity.

Cerebra’s work really does change lives for the better, whether that be practical support to families or just someone on the end of the phone that cares. Parenting children with disabilities can be a huge challenge – having an organisation like Cerebra to turn to for help and support is invaluable and I’m very proud to be an ambassador for this wonderful charity.

Cerebra is always able to point us in the right direction and it has made life so much easier for us as a family with two disabled children.

Cerebra came into our lives after we received Alfie’s autism diagnosis. We were feeling lost and unsure where to turn. Cerebra helped us navigate our way through and helped us understand Alfie’s world. I will always be grateful for the support we received so it is nice we can give something back.

I am proud to be an Ambassador for Cerebra and be in a position to promote Cerebra’s services. Having a child with disabilities has a huge impact on the whole family and without the kind of support that Cerebra offer, it’s a lonely journey.

Cerebra is special to me because they help support children like me with brain-related conditions. When I was younger I spent a lot of time in hospital. In the past three years I have been better and helped fundraise for charity. My type of cerebral palsy is rare so I like to tell people more about disabilities and me.

It’s a real privilege and honour to be an ambassador for such a unique charity. I am very passionate about Cerebra as it does exceptional work with supporting children and their families. I hope it continues to grow year-on-year so that its services can be offered to more people across the UK.
