Many families with children who have special needs find it incredibly difficult to find a place to go on holiday that caters for their needs. Some children with autism just can’t cope with a busy holiday park and it can be difficult for a child in a wheelchair to travel abroad.
Our holiday home Vallecchia gives families an opportunity to enjoy a break in Pembrokeshire, South Wales without some of the difficulties they might experience on a standard holiday. We have done everything we can to make our holiday home as accessible and enjoyable a place for the children we help to visit as we can.
There is a ramped entrance to allow wheelchair access and a large bedroom with en-suite facilities on the ground floor. It also has a multi-sensory room and a soft play area with tactile sensory toys. There is a large garden and a games room in the detached double garage, with table tennis, table football and a pool table. You can have a look around Vallecchia with our Virtual Tour.
We have included a number of services that we hope will make your holiday an enjoyable one. We can also arrange some support: a cleaner to visit the property to help with any domestic requirements and a nurse to help with care one day a week - if this service is needed more often, you can pay extra for more help.
For more information on Vallecchia we have a brochure you can download or feel free to get in touch on 0800 328 1159 or vallecchia@cerebra.org.uk with any questions you have.
