We try and help with as many different types of item as possible. If it will directly benefit your child and shouldn’t be provided by someone else (NHS, Social Services, LEA) then we will consider it.
The lists below are not everything we will or won’t fund, they’re just there to give you some idea of things we can and can’t help with. If the item or service that you're thinking of applying for isn't on the list, it doesn't necessarily mean that we won't fund it. - Therapies at recognised treatment centres

- Tricycles and quadricycles

Examples of things we will not fund
- Assessments of any kind
- Driving lessons
- Educational items such as home tutors, standard teaching materials or the son-rise programme
- Housing adaptations or anything that could be considered a home improvement e.g. paint for decorating, conservatories, carpet or other flooring
- Garden landscaping
- General clothing
- Holidays
- Household items e.g. vacuum cleaners, washing machines, wardrobes
- Lycra suits
- Motorised vehicles such as quad bikes and motorbikes
- Treatment centres outside of the UK
- Vehicle purchase or maintenance
