The new Apple iPad is rapidly becoming a ‘must have’ product for disabled and able bodied people alike. Izzette Oram is no exception and she was lucky enough to receive one for her birthday which helps to enhance her communication, learning and recreation.

However, it needed protecting from bumps and scrapes as well as Izzette’s desire to chew it! Whilst there are many commercially available iPad cases, none featured the tough yet sleek and stylish looks of this case with an attachment on the rear to mount to a wheelchair arm. Izzette’s favourite colour is red, so this prototype features a metallic red finish over the durable polyamide plastic.

We hope this will prove to be a useful accessory and help Izzette and her family.
