Organise Your Own Event

You can organise your own fundraising event and help Cerebra make a difference.

Whether it's a sponsored sky dive or bathing in beans, you can do whatever you want to help raise money for children with brain injuries and neurological conditions. Get friends, family or even your whole local community involved and make a spectacle of yourself for a good cause.

Here are some great examples of events people have organised to raise money for Cerebra:

Student Gordon Stuart rode his motorbike from Whitley Bay to the northernmost point of Norway - a journey of 3000 miles.

Goodman's Law firm, based in Liverpool, regulalrly hold workplace events from coffee mornings, dress down Fridays to a more demanding 5k team challenge.

Six year old Poppy Garton, who suffers from hemiplegia, raised over £500 by running in the Wells Fun Run.

Wendy Thomas organised a murder mystery dinner and auction on the 1st of March to raise money for children with neurological conditions. The event raised a total of £1106.

If you have any bright ideas for fundraising contact Allyson Silverthorne on 01267 244222 or at allysons@cerebra.org.uk to request a fundraising pack. Remember, the money you raise goes towards making a real difference, whether it's funding for a piece of specialist equipment or a sensory toy, helping us research a specific condition or treatment, providing advice to parents and carers or allowing a family some time away at our holiday home in Pembrokeshire.
